Wednesday, April 11, 2012
3:00 – 4:00 PM EDT
Presenters:
Paul Feltman, Director, Global Talent Bridge Initiative, World Education Services
Members of the IMPRINT Project, a coalition of organizations active in the emerging field of immigrant professional integration.
New Jersey’s immigrant population includes more than 500,000 adults with university degrees, yet many find themselves unemployed or underemployed in the U.S. After outlining the issues and discussing the barriers that hinder these immigrants’ professional integration, our presenters will introduce existing resources and suggest further programmatic investments and policy reforms that would enable this talented population to more fully contribute their skills to New Jersey’s high-tech, health care and other key economic sectors. Participants will be asked to respond to these suggestion and to pose questions about the actions and resources necessary to move forward.
Webinar cosponsored by Einstein’s Alley, an organization committed to fostering economic growth in central New Jersey
